Morning Prayer
Thank You Lord for the honour of raising your children Shannon, Ronan and Ava. Give me the patients and energy today so I can be there for them. AMEN.

My THREE kids
I've got a little time now so thought I'd just write an update of the kids.
Allen likes to take shots of the kids when playing. Here is Shannon mucking about in the lounge before bedtime. I can't wait till her two front teeth start to grow.
Shannon is very matured now....ever since Ava Rose was born. She told me the other day that "I'm going to be very busy now!" Coz she's gotto help me take care of Ava. She's a proud big sister and said a few times that "Ava looks like me".
Here is Ronan at Ava's fullmoon party.
Ava is a clever little baby. At just a month old, she's all wide eyed, rolling her eyes to the sound of her brother and sister. She is very alert and aware and looks very hard at things aroung her.
Ronan too has grown!! I mean really grown...his appitite has grown and he's alot heavier and chubbier now. He is very gentle with Ava. Pats her gently and gives her a big sloppy kiss. He's also learned to use the word NO. I think this must be the beginning of the terrible 2 stage. Oh oh!
She wakes up 3 times a night but after her milk and diaper change goes straight back to sleep. Lucky me!

Swimming
On monday 9th Feb; a public holiday.......
I didn't realize how much we missed the pool till we went to Aunty Punie's apartment (where we used to stay) for a swim. Here's everyone excluding Punie and me who also took a dip in the pool.
Told Punie we will be "visiting" once a week from now on!!!!
As we (my sisters and I) do not celebrate chinese new year together anymore (like when we lived in KK with mum and dad), this was "IT". A chinese new year potluck lunch. Puei made Tortilla's with chicken, bell pepper, onion, tomatoes, lettuce, sour cream and cheese. Punie made bacon & tomato pasta and I made olio' tuna fettuchini. YUM.
Banting Beach
On Thaipusam sunday, daddy's friend Uncle Yusni & his daughter (in the background) invited us to a beach in Banting. As we stay nearby...we took a 20 minute drive and arrived at this place. It was packed with people and lots of stalls selling kites, chicken wings, BBQ kerang....Probably not a good place to swim but good to spend a couple of hours just flying a kite and munching on snacks.

Good morning kiddos
Here are the kids chillin' out in the garage. (Still in their jammy's) Ronan climbed up onto the bonet and Shannon soons followed.
Ronan can now say a few words:-
1. Mama or Mummy
2. Dada or Papa
3. Tehteh (Che-che - chinese for big sister)
4. Tata (Kakak)
5. Mumum (Food)
6. Baba (ByeBye)
7. Tatoa (Hello)(It does sound anything like it, but I'm sure that's what he means!)
Happy Chinese New Year
We've just come back from a long trip to JB; where we celebrated chinese new year. I had ALOT of time but unfortunately grandpa does not have broadband.
Here's Shannon on 1st day of CNY with the lion at grandpa's house.
Here's everyone who was there for the dragon dance at Uncle Andy's house. It was the 1st time for Ronan and he loved every second of it. He was scared of one thing though...the fireworks. Shannon and Ronan were up early and watched every lion dance in the neighbourhood.

Moyog Dam and Babagon River
Since the kids enjoyed our last trip there (in Aug 08), we went again. This time we drove a little further up and saw this magnificent view of Moyog Dam. Travellers who have some time on their hands and are keen to do some volunteer work here can visit this site.
We came back down again and parked by the river for some splashing fun. Ronan as always (when he sees water) didn't waste time and got into the water like a bolt. After he got nice and dry, grandpa decided to get him wet again. Argggg....he cried so hard when we had to take him out of the water the second time. Since he had no change of cloths, he had to wear Elil's PINK t-shirt. Boy it was strange to look at my son in PINK (everyone had a good laugh)....and imagining him a GIRL!
